PROJECT UPDATE: November 2014
Construction on Kingsgbury Grade has been significantly completed one season ahead of time. Nearly four miles of roadway was reconstructed, including excavation of approximately 24,000 cubic yard of old road and placement of 24,000 tons of new asphalt. More than 6,000 linear feet of storm drain pipe, 3,300 linear feet of sidewalk and 8,700 linear feet of curb and gutter were also installed as part of the project’s safety, accessibility and drainage improvements. And thanks in part to the spring and fall closures, the project work intended to continue next season has been significantly completed.
THANK YOU TO ALL MOTORISTS, RESIDENTS AND BUSINESS OWNERS FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND COOPERATION THROUGHOUT THIS PROJECT.
